Sumerian Reflection

Today I presented my Sumerian project with Sherif. We chose to study Sumerian art because that is what we found interesting. We started by looking up some sites with this info. I looked at the sites and I found some facts about sculptures. I thought it would be a good Idea to make a sculpture of one of the Sumerian gods. I got clay because that is what they had back then, and if I used stone that would have taken quite a long time. I got a picture and tried to replicate it is best as I could. Sherif was making a sculpture of a face that he found. When I made mine it was very dialect and started slowly falling apart. I used two sites in particular for this project, because they had the info I needed. I tried to find a couple answers to questions I had, but they were difficult to find. Sherif and I were contacting with each other pretty nicely through the project, but there were a few times where we were both worried about getting the project done. On sunday I worked on the writing. I did some of it on sunday, because I did not want to be up all night on monday working. The next day I spent time editing my portion, and adding and finishing parts. Then Sherif and I edited each other papers, which they defiantly needed. Today my figure I made complexly fell apart, that made me kind of sad. We decided to present first I read my paper after sherif read his. I think I did a good job of reading it. I saw that Rob was writing down notes. People asked a couple questions we did not know the answers to, and some we did. I think I should have wrote a bigger essay, and used some more sources. OveralI think we did a pretty good job on our project.
